How to Apply for Financial Aid

Step 1. Submit your application for admission along with your official transcripts and standardized test results.

Step 2. File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We highly recommend that you file the FAFSA online www.fafsa.gov. You and one parent are required to secure Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) at www.pin.ed.gov. If you prefer to file a paper FAFSA, see your high school guidance counselor.

West Virginia Wesleyan College's School Code number is 003830.

In order to maximize all of your Financial Aid options we strongly recommend that all students file the FAFSA by March 1. The information you submit on the FAFSA determines your eligibility for the Federal Pell Grant, Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant, state grants, federal loan programs, work-study and many Wesleyan scholarship and grant programs.

Note: Don't forget to import your tax return information into your FAFSA application as soon as three weeks after you have filed your taxes.
